Hiro Ogawa

Mr Ogawa is a founder and President of Frontier Trust Co., Ltd.
Prior to founding Frontier Trust, Mr Ogawa took various roles including a Director of CAPF Securities Co., Ltd and was responsible for soliciting offshore funds for a variety of Japanese investors and the monitoring and maintenance of client relationships. Prior to CAPF Securities, Mr Ogawa was a Senior Vice President of Zurich Capital Markets Securities Ltd where he worked for two years specializing in hedge fund derivatives and hedge fund marketing.
Before Zurich Capital Markets, Mr Ogawa was a Vice President of the Corporate Finance Department at Sanwa Bank where he began in 1988 and was responsible for syndicated lending, business planning and compliance, corporate banking, structured
finance and credit administration among other duties.
Mr Ogawa holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Yokohama National University, Kanagawa, Japan and is a CFA charterholder. He also holds a broker-dealer license Type I issued by the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
Masahiro (Masa) Goda

He is investment advisory specialist for Asia and prior to this, he was a professional banker within Structured Trade Finance overseeing duties such as pre-export finance to commodity producers, coordinating Inventory Finance, and ECA Finance.
He began his career at Sanwa Bank (currently named as Mitsubishi UFJ Bank) in 1988 and served the International Finance Dept (Structured Finance team) in 1993 after a strategic traineeship of Power Plant team of a Japanese Trading House. He moved to Singapore with the Structured Finance team from 1995 and after Singapore, he served the Hong Kong Branch as Head of the Structured Trade Finance Division from 2001. In 2005, he then moved to Mizuho Bank, and was appointed as Regional Head of Global Trade Finance Div. of Asia in 2007. ECA Finance, Short Term Trade Finance, Commodity Trade Finance, Financial Institutions were under his scope and he established sub-offices in Bangkok, Sydney, Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Shanghai overseeing 45 experienced staff. In 2019, he moved to Topaz Capital Inc. which is one of the pioneer of Private Debt Funds in Japan and looked after the new Asia Investment Fund after serving Deutsche Bank Tokyo Branch as the Head of Trade Finance Dept.
